By Suzanne Burdick, Ph.D. Roughly 1 in 30 children and adolescents ages 3 to 17 were diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder in 2020, according to a JAMA Pediatrics research letter, which also referenced a new study showing a 53% increase in ASD in young Americans since 2017.
I found your blog looking for the new autism numbers. I follow Children's Health Defense, as well as Del Bigtree's Highwire and Kim Rossi's "Age of Autism" websites, but hadn't checked the email I get from Children's Health Defense that would have had the link. I'm glad I didn't - and found your blog.
I don't know how closely you follow the vaccine - autism link. I've been following it fairly closely since 2004, because my older daughter, now 21, had what was then called PDD-NOS or "autism-lite". It's now part of the autism diagnosis. We were able to undo a lot of the damage via heavy metal chelation and hyperbaric oxygen treatments. It was fortunate that she had a milder case, with relatively little permanent brain damage.
A lot of us have been trying to sound the alarm for a long time, but few people have listened, and now we have a "vaccine" that's seriously injuring many people. It's possible it's seriously injuring just about everybody that mounts an immune response. Check out the PULS study in the "circulation" journal of the American Heart Association if you haven't yet. In one practice of patients with existing heart conditions, people who got two clot shots increased their 5 year risk of heart attacks from 11% to 25% on average. That's the average for everyone, and that's just one problem the clot shots causes.
Thanks for stopping by, Skeptical. I'm a retired child and adolescence psychiatrist and worked with many patients with autism. I first became aware of Dr Wakefield's studies linking autism to the MMR in 2004. I will definitely check out the PULS study you mention.
