Most migrants support Russia. Calls by NATO leaders to recruit soldiers in a crusade against Russia are shunned by recruits who have begun to flee.
A citizen's patriotism has nothing to do with the current military recruitment malaise in the west.
On the contrary, it has everything to do with the very simple understanding that is beginning to dawn on ordinary humanity across virtually all nations.
Yes, there are exceptions for example Russia. It has little issue with maintaining military readiness because every citizen in the country knows beyond a shadow of a doubt, if Russia is not fully prepared to rebuff and repel outside aggression from the global plutocracy / kleptocracy, then it means literally the death of every Russian at the hand of west as well as the theft / confiscation of every shred of wealth / assets / natural capital that exists within the borders of Russia. Brings clarity to the mind to know your extinction hangs in the balance with those that wish to kill you and subjugate you.
Citizenry in the west on the other hand, they are beginning to awaken to these simple truths:
1- The government / plutocracy exist to subjugate you, control you, steal from you, imprison you at will.
2- The government / plutocracy lies to you with impunity and does not give a damn whether you know that or not.
3- You and your family will die and be impoverished at the whim and directive of evil / corrupt / people of absolute debauchery, simply because they can do this to you. For those in power, death is merely an entertainment... a sport no more consequential than chuckles at the club over a rare whiskey and cigar among brethren... or no more consequential than the latest soiree or afternoon tea party in the garden among the chattering class, swilling delicious champagne.
The commoner is but cattle, a bovine to be slaughtered or a sheep to be shorn. The elites you must understand... the elites know what's best for you and why you exist to serve them.
Just ask them, they will happily educate you as to your place in the world.

From my perspective, An, the oligarchs trying to engineer a Muslim/Christian race war ever since their Venetian ancestors launched the Crusades in 1095. Now that Saudi Arabia has reconciled with Syria, Iraq and Iran and applied for membership BRICS, I think the multipolar alliance will prevail and the white nations will be too busy trying to feed themselves and stay warm to take the bate.
Possible, but we have a major mass immigration of Islamists issue there, I think the conflict between Israel and Palestine could be one of the triggers as well.

Good point, John. Military contractors were a lot more keen to go to Iraq and Afghanistan when the US upped the pay to $1,000 a day.
Let the war mongers (mostly old men and women) fight each other and leave the young people to have a life.
